A showcase of someĀ of the smaller projects completed during my Foundation year, where I was able to experiment across several of the creative disciplines.

Graphic design // quick project exploring graphic ways of presenting a quote, here a play on words encouraging
children to eat their vegetables.

Graphic design // lyric project turning the song "Perfect" into a love letter.

Graphic design // poster campaign project aimed at raising awareness of a social issue for a chosen charity. HeForShe tackles gender discrimination, particularly in the workplace. The posters were designed using the existing colours of the charity which are used in such a way as to emphasis the original tagline, "It's Criminal/Discrimination."

Graphic Design // a very quick project, exploring the visual meaning of different descriptive words used in typography, expressed using found materials, mind maps and hand-lettering.

Textiles // a dress made entirely out of paper, with the flowers being made from pages of an old book.

3D // a giant version of a pencil sharpener made out of recycled materials (I don't know why either)

Illustration // observation exercise, drawing the detailed skeleton ensuring that proportions and shading are accurately captured.

Illustration // a scene we were then presented with which we could use any method to express.

Textiles // a hand-embroidered waistcoat based on styles worn in the 1700s.

Fine Art // a drawing of a fluffy glove using Biro.
