A first year university project introducing us to the basics of typesetting, and my first project using InDesign. Looking at the differences between traditional and contemporary book typography, and considering typeface choice, differentiation, folio placement, alignments, binding methods and paper stocks. This project marked the start of my interest in editorial design, which eventually led me to take on more detailed book design projects later in my degree, and linked to my previous work studying the evolution of type styles over history.
