Hi, I'm Ruth! A recent graduate of the Department of Typography and Graphic Communication at the University of Reading, I am a dedicated, conscientious and passionate designer, who works well both independently and in collaborative situations. I enjoy building and applying complex typographic systems, focusing on functional design with the ultimate goal of benefitting the end user. My particular skills lie in editorial design, typography, branding and writing about design, with a personal interest in hand-lettering and calligraphy. In my career, I aim to create designs with a real purpose, communicating directly to target audiences in order to address their needs in effective and engaging ways.
